‘Hunty’ is without doubt one of
the characters in the game. He is a lad who is extremely ambitious
with a will to succeed at soccer and he has had to go about it
the hard way. At Johnville Noel was making a name for himself
when he scored 6 goals in a local Premier League tie. Soon enough
Damian Richardson of Shamrock Rovers snapped him up.
It took Noel a little while to adjust to this level and a loan
spell back to Waterford United with Paul Power as manager saw
him net some good goals for the Blues. The following season he
was back at Rovers and back in their first team. He put in some
outstanding performance’s which caught the attention of
Dunfermline manager Jimmy Calderwood who signed him in January
2003.
Noel has been injured as of late but no doubt when he returns
he will be banging in the goals once again. Noel has also played
Kennedy Cup football and International School’s football.
He also has three Under 21 International caps for Don Given’s
side. |
